Editors' Statement

Targeted Therapies is a monthly fax newsletter, produced through educational grants from Biogen Idec, Celgene and Genentech. It provides practicing oncologists with at-a-glance, highly topical and current literature review on key research findings and trends in the management of various tumor types, with emphasis on the emerging role of biologics, enzyme inhibitors and radioimmunotherapies.

A new wave of targeted therapies is descending on the clinical oncology community.  We believe this newsletter will play an important role in scanning the recent literature and providing you, the practicing oncologist, a better understanding of the differences between antibodies and an awareness that antibodies with efficacy in one disease will not necessarily work in a related disease.

Each issue of Targeted Therapies is created from the input of several leading cancer clinical research experts who comprise our editorial board.
